Weezer fans can mark their calendars because the group has announced when their latest record Everything Will Be Alright In The End will drop September 30th. This release will be the groups tenth full length studio record. While some fans will be skeptical and holding their breath as the release date comes close due to recent Weezer releases the band told Entertainment Weekly that the record is more like a cross of two of their greatest records, the infamous Blue Album and Pinkerton. Drummer Patrick Wilson added in the interview that it has the “tight structure” of their debut and “abandon” of Pinkerton. All in all I hope it really does sound like a cross and not as much like Hurley.
Here’s a really old video of Weezer playing my favorite track “In The Garage” acoustically at Criminal Records in Atlanta nearly 20 years ago.
