Rich Cronin was part of the boy band boom of the late 90s. Cronin was part of the group called LFO. The band gained popularity with the single Summertime. While almost every body band did not survive to the new century, LFO was one few to reform but then break up. LFO broke up in the early 2000’s only to do a reformation tour in 2009. Cronin would later tell the press that the group was 100% done.
Cronin, 35, was diagnosed with cancer, specifically leukemia, in 2005. He had been battling it for several years and had started his own fund to raise awareness (The Rich Cronin Hope Fund). The news was broken by TMZ as well as fellow boy bander Lance Bass via Twitter. Cronin will be missed by family and friends. We here at the Triforce wish the best of wishes to his family.
